Medina publishers approached me direct to design the guide for the new Atturaif Museums in Saudi Arabia, a huge complex of different sites which had been recently lavishly rebuilt and restored. They had just visited the Museum of London and were much impressed by the museum’s highlights guide, which I had produced for Scala Arts & Heritage Publishers back in 2010 as part of their Highlights series. They wanted a guide exactly like that for their new complex of Museums, due to open in December of the same year. Atturaif is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
