This is the third book I have been privileged to design for the distinguished interior designer John Stefanidis. The book’s subject was one of great personal significance to him as it featured his personal retreat on the Greek island of Patmos which over the last 40 years he has transformed from a semi-ruin to what has been described by many as ‘the most beautiful house in all Greece’. During the period of time spent designing this book Mr Stefanidis was the subject of an episode of Desert Island Discs!
